Google Alerts - Learn to Blog Tip
Filed Under Learn to Blog, SEM, SEO, Work-From-Home, affiliate marketing, make money online, offpage SEO
If you are learning to blog, and want to optimize the outcome of your blog, a great way to learn the tips and tricks is through Google Alerts. By setting an email learn, based upon a particular keyword, you can learn more about blogging and other online marketing tactics through other bloggers. For example, right now, I am very focused on learning as much as a can about affiliate marketing. I went into Google Alerts and set a Google alert for ‘Affiliate Marketing’. Every day, I get an email alert of sites that have indexed information about affiliate marketing.
What a great way to network with others in-the-know! Google Alerts offer another great way to connect with people that have similar interests as yours. For example, I know a sales associate who specializes in Pre-Paid Legal membership plans for families, teachers and businesses, and would probably want to network with people who specialize in employee benefit programs or individuals who are facing legal issues. To do this, she would simply choose keywords that are relevant to her targeted demographic and then set a Google alert to receive information about those targeted demographics.
Easy as pie and another great example of ‘offpage SEO’! Happy blogging!
